Yodha and Merry Christmas

Earlier, it was decided that Yodha would be released on 7th July. It was directed by Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre and was directed by Hiroo Johar, Karan Johar, Khaitan, and Apoorva Mehta. At the beginning of the year, 'Merry Christmas' starring Vijay Sethupati and Katrina Kaif announced that they were going to release the movie on the same date, i.e., 7th July.

After knowing that the release date of 'Merry Christmas' is the same as 'Yodha', Karan Johar expressed his disappointment and shared on social media where he wrote 'clashing on a date without the courtesy of a phone call is hopefully not the way forward for the studios and producers. If we don't stand united in these tough and challenging theatrical days then calling us a fraternity is futile….'

Ending Note!

Karan Johar was supposed to release 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' on the 15th of March but to avoid a clash, he paused the release date for the moment and then finalized the 15th of March as the release date of 'Yodha'. He has already postponed the release date four times prior to this.
