The movie “Tiku Weds Sheru” is going to release soon on the OTT platform. However, since the trailer of the movie got launched on the internet, users talking about its kiss scene. They are not liking the kiss between Avneet Kaur and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the movie.

The trailer of “Tiku Weds Sheru” was launched a couple of days ago and since then some of the fans are disliking the fact that there was a kiss between such an old age person with a young actress on screen.

It was seen that Avneet (21) and Nawazzudin (49) were locking lips in the trailer. Fans trolled Nawazzudin for this and started tweeting about him and making memes about him.

When internet users were brutally trolling the actor, he came out publicly to speak about the kiss and justified it. He said “Why will there be a problem? Romance is ageless. The problem is that the young men have no romance left. We are from the times when romance was something else. We would be in love and be in ‘Ishq’ for years. Today, Shahrukh khan continues to do romantic roles because the young generation is ‘nalli’ (useless). They don’t know romance”.

He further adds “Everything today happens on Whatsapp be it love or breakup. There is a reason for this. People who have lived in romance can do romance. Who else will do it?” 

Kangana Ranaut on Selecting Avneet for the Role

Kangana said the role was first written for me but I wanted to produce the movie and not to act in it. So, I started hunting for the lead actress in the movie. The role was challenging and I searched for many girls from different states but no one was fulfilling the characteristics of the movie.

Now the casting director gave me the Instagram id of Avneet Kaur and I saw her pictures and eventually realized that she is a free girl and she can fit into the skin of the character of a small-town girl. So, I choose her.

Yeah, it might be bad publicity for the movie seeing the liplock of Avneet Kaur and Nawazuddin Siddiqui for the Tiku Weds Sheru movie. However, the movie has received the limelight enough that is required for perfect publicity.

We think that people will still watch it on the OTT platform despite the kiss scene as the story looks fresh. Also, it would be unique to see two actors from different age gaps falling in love.
