Ranveer Singh News - He Will Play the Character of Don in Don 3

The latest Ranveer Singh news coming is regarding his new character in the movie Don 3. As per sources he has replaced Shahrukh Khan to become the new Don in the upcoming Don 3 movie. Why he was selected? Let’s read the full news:

Finally, the search for the new Don has been completed. Don was the character of Shahrukh Khan but when he refused the character, the team of Excel Entertainment was searching for a fresh face to this iconic character who would take forward the legacy of Don. The third part of the famous movie was about to start but fans and the makers got a big surprise when the King Khan excluded himself from the movie. 

The reason was that Shahrukh wanted to do movies differently than Don and as per his current movie-choosing routine, the movie does not fit his future goals. A lot of names were there in the race of playing the character of Don in Don 3 but then the sources confirmed that Ranveer has been finalized to play the title character.

Why Did Farhan and Ritesh Choose Ranveer for the Role?

Ranveer has done two movies for Excel Entertainment (founded by director Farhan Akhtar and Producer Ritesh Sidhwani). These movies are “Dil Dhadakne Do” and “Gully Boy”. Both have been commercially successful movies and the trio Ranveer, Ritesh, and Farhan share a good bonding with each other. Also, Ranveer is a favorite of both.

This was the reason Farhan and Ritesh choose Ranveer for the Don’s character. The duo has also informed Shahrukh about the replacement. Excel will soon announce the new Don in Public.
